Here is the Cheiracanthium specimen that Carol Davis sent me from Utah a couple weeks ago. As soon as I opened the container, it was clear to me that this is a Cheiracanthium species -- the front legs go on forever.

I finally was able to unpack the microscope and have a look. Turns out to be the holarctic (and invasive) species Cheiracanthium mildei.
